@Regrann from @aiyerish – Jayanagar holds a special place for every Bangalorean, especially if you are a vegetarian . With its heritage eateries, the ‘all available in one place’ BDA complex:) I bumped into this food wagon. Right opposite the jayanagar police station, nestled in a corner, is an architect and an engineer who quit their day jobs to pursue their passion. I had their nachos chat, and man it was a burst of flavours. If you are walking around here , in the evening , do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some yumminess @the_blue_wagon_
Just a couple of months back, this amazing wagon was parked in my office (Infosys) premises as part of your annual carnival. From distance the blue colored motor is hard to miss the eye. When I read the name it did strike familiar and then I realized that I’ve read about them on multiple local internet tabloids being listed as one of the must visit food trucks in the city. The place is run by a young awesome duo.
They were offering limited items on that day but the list wasn’t small. I only got to try their Cheesy Grilled Sandwich. Try me when I say that I’ve never had one which tastes like theirs in the city so far. Finely grilled with delicious cheese smeared and grilled between the buttery breads. I even saw others gobbling up on mouthwatering Maggi.
Keep serving the good food Ipsa and Hitesh. Would surely visit if ever in your locality.
So this is my first food truck experience in Bangalore – and it was by chance, I didn’t go looking for them, they were at an event I was attending – this is the true sense in which the food trucks were created! Over two days I had a veg cheese grilled sandwich, butter garlic Maggi, and chilli cheese maggi. It’s one of the very few times I felt their pricing was perfect, not under, not over exactly what I’d have priced it at.
The grilled sandwich looks good and tastes better! Simple yet outstanding in taste.
Highlight for me was the butter garlic Maggi, liked it enough to have two plates full! Delicious goodness! I’m surely gonna go looking for them the next time I crave for it!
Best part is it’s being run by a young guy and a young girl.. and in an environment of high pressure they kept their calm and served up goodness by the plates as soon as it possibly could be!
Great going guys!
The Blue Wagon
American, Fast Food and Beverages cusines in the locality with food truck concept.
Located opposite to Maiya’s, before it was Cauvery Emporium now they have couple of good food trucks.
These have a limited menu like Day’s Special, Popsicles, Milkshakes, Sparkling Juices and Refreshes.
Ordered Nachos Chat & Thick Mango.
Both were prepared live and fresh.
Nachos Chat is something we should try here, this was extraordinary in taste, where I has never tried or tatsed it before. It had special sauces and ingredients in it. I shall recommend this item to others.
Thick Mango was fresh and real in taste. According to my analyses, there were no additional added flavours or colors in it. Shake was chill and refreshing, it was a great combination with Nachos Chat.
Planning to head soon and try other varieties from the menu.

Must Try – Nachos Chat
The mixed reviews made it tricky for us if we should visit this or not. But we absolutely did not regret coming here. I see some of them complaining about the prices. But when you pay less you get less quality and quantity, suit yourself. We reached there around 8 pm by when quite a couple of things on the menu were out of stock, which is a good sign but I really wanted to try some of them . The chilli cheese maggi was really good. There is never enough cheese, is it ? <3 We later tried the khus cooler, kiwi banana and cold coffee which tasted decent. Potato garlic nuggets were perfectly fried. Really wanted to try their popsicles , but they were over too. 🙁 But looking forward to try more delicacies by the trio on the next visit. 🙂
Truck food is always great, but this one is the one I love the most! The nachos chat is just amazing!
Have it every time and enjoy it a lot!
Popsicles are good, too.
Oreo shake is decent.
Maggi is also something to surely try.
Without any doubt, 5/5.
